Polling: The GOP Should Be Wary Of Closet Obama Voters
by John Jazwiec

Barack Obama won the 2008 election in a landslide. He is polling about even with the "generic" GOP nominee, for the 2012 election.

What is remarkable to me is this: Have you ever met a non-African American who voices support for Obama?

I never have. I have asked white collar and blue collar friends and associates the same question. Answer. Silence. They don't support Obama and don't know anyone that does.

This week, four Georgia teachers were fired, for testing student's math skills, though word problems, which divided "picking" a certain amount of items, by how many slaves, it would take, to do it within an hour. Racism is alive and well, thank you. It only gets stopped, when people are called out for it.

If Obama is so narrowly supported, why does he poll, even with a generic or Romney nominee?

I believe that Obama supporters are "closet" voters. In a country, where everyone is one separation away from a racist, no one can admit they support Obama. Furthermore, although polling is supposed to be private, it is probable that many Obama supporters, still won't tell some stranger they will vote for Obama.

In 2008, Obama's popular vote, in terms of percentages, was much larger than polling indicated. While some of that, was due to not being able to poll, poor African Americans without phones; most of the difference, was people secretly voted for him, while telling pollers and friends they were not.

Any poll you see, whether it is Obama's popularity or reelection chances, must be marked up by at least 10%. If you are planning to vote GOP this fall; you should be wary of closet Obama voters.
